After fitting woman for over 30 years in my Uniform business, I  created my label Bold Heart, a range for ladies with curves. I had definitely done my apprenticeship! I was initially inspired by the humble tee, as I could not buy one that fitted. They were always too short in the body, too tight in the hip and too big in the shoulders.

 

Over five years on, Bold Heart is thriving with customers that too have struggled with fitting off the shelf garments that fit a curvy figure.My clients can’t quite believe their luck when they walk into my studio, with a whole room full of clothes that fit in vibrant colours and fabrics with texture! When one of my ladies said to me, you have changed my life, it just encourages me to keep designing as this and brings me great joy.
